I am dealing with a the worst experience ever with this place. So I found a car online from what I thought was a private seller. Haggled online, she told me the car was in pretty good condition and we agreed to meet. She said she’s in Silver Spring Maryland and I’m in Stafford Virginia.. so it was a bit of a drive but I was willing because it looked in perfect condition and it was a steal. Drove all the way there, looked it over and everything seemed okay. So she told me she was a dealer and I thought, great she knows what she’s doing. So we signed everything, I gave her the money, then she tells me there aren’t any tags on the car. So I had to drive home almost two hours hoping not to get pulled over.nnFast forward to the next day. I took the title and everything to the dmv and was told they couldn’t process the title because she had signed the papers wrong. So my options were for her to mail me a new one or I could drive another two hours there. I call her and she apologizes and says she will mail it to me with priority shipping so it would get there the next day. I end up getting it 5 days later. I take it to the dmv and we get all figured out, they take my paperwork to the back and after a while they bring it back and say that they still can’t accept this. Because the people who sold it to Uptown didn’t sign the paperwork correctly and no one is sure how Uptown missed this blatant mistake. So almost two weeks later I am running all over creation trying to fix these people’s mistakes. WHICH IS NOT MY JOB. I don’t technically own this car but no one will give me my money back and she is now getting short with ME because she is suggesting I break the law. So I have this ginormous paperweight sitting in my driveway that I can’t drive and I have no car so I have to borrow my mothers car and it’s messing with my job. I’m so done. Don’t go to this place. It’s shifty and no one is willing to help me.
