We have tried this place a few times. We have tried their pizza with sausage and broccoli rub which was fine. Eggplant parmigiana which would be perfect if it was a little less salty and it was a good portion. Lasagna that tasted good but was salty. Arugula and strawberry salad that was very average.
Piccolina is a nice surprise. It's a tiny Italian cafe in DC City Center. Surrounded by luxurious shops, it's easy to miss, but don't. The chefs create delicious Italian dishes. Their counter sells cookies and pastries. They also have a full lunch and dinner menu you can take out or enjoy at one of the few tables inside. We ordered the zucchini veggies and ham crepe. She devoured it and we enjoyed a bite too!
I think a hot pocket would have tasted better than this .... It appeared to be a hot pocket cooked in some onion and spinach... Very nasty..
Delicious breakfast with fresh local ingredients. Superb coffee and amazing service.
This place is a gem. Fantastic food, a lot of variety and great coffee.
