Wonderful and friendly service during my visit to DC! The barista was both knowledgeable and kind. I didn’t quite catch his name, but he was very informative on my questions regarding different oat milks and coffee. Will def be back next time I visit DC!
Great coffee, great location, only drawback is that there's no WiFi to get some work done. Did I mention great coffee? Moved a while ago and definitely missing this place.
Positively addictive. Friendly service, they know what I want as soon as they see me walk in. If I'm paying for fancy coffee and a pastry it better be better than Starbucks and what I can make myself. They are top shelf in every aspect.
The coffee is really lovely, but I was surprised and disappointed by the attitude of the staff. They were not very welcoming and I felt like an inconvenience. I also felt a little patronised - I appreciate that the coffee is well sourced, and that many people are coffee purists and don't offer customisations. But I didn't appreciate being made to feel uncouth for inquiring. Also, I was waiting for my coffee at the allotted space, and the barista deliberately placed it away from me. It was early in the morning, and I may have visited on a bad day, but I would rather order coffee at some of the other local places where people have been really friendly.
