Rite Aid

My favorite go to quick stop store. It has just about every last minute possible item you'll need! Toys, clothes, self care, health care, gifting, holiday, food, meds, baby......everything!

I went to the doctor’s at 7:45 am and my doctor ordered me a prescription around 8:00 am. I spent the day running errands, so I arrived at Rite Aid at 6:00 pm to pick up my prescription. I went to the drive through and it was not there. 8+ hours and my prescription is not ready, unacceptable. I came back at 7:00 pm and it was finally there; the older woman who assisted me clearly did not adore her job. It showed immensly. Disappointed with this experience. My second experience: Today I needed a prescription refill. So I call the pharmacy. I waited at least 25 minutes attempting to speak with a pharmacist. The first time, the woman who answered put me on hold and hung up. I thought it was an accident on her part but after the 5 other attempts of calling I gave up. This customer service is below my standards. I am not sure if this establishment is understaffed, or just a joke. I did not find it amusing or respectful. I hope this Rite Aid gets it together and starts displaying better customer service; it would be much appreciated by me and other humans who just want some DECENT assistance. I am an understanding person and I realize that waiting times are normal in life, but my experiences have been on the negative side of the spectrum.

This store has to be amongst the most ineptly run operation I've ever encountered. Last night I called to see if an item that was listed on their website was in stock at their location (10 count Advil tablets in a white plastic travel tube), and after being assured that it was, I requested that two of these items be set aside waiting for me up front at the counter. I was told by Francisco, the supervisor, that it would be there waiting for me. It wasn't. An hour later I came in to make my purchase and Francisco informed me in the most disinterested way that it wasn't behind the counter. The assistant manager was clueless about it also as he tried to deflect my criticism about this issue. Both exhibited a level of casual apathy, lack of empathy and a total incompetence which was appalling. They were utterly indifferent to the casual lying and discourtesy they displayed toward a customer. They simply could not have cared less and were perfectly comfortable doing as little as possible to inconvenience themselves. Well, some of us DO care. I'll never shop there again and I recommend that others do the same.

I'm astounded by the negative reviews. Is it possible that they are written by people that just don't feel well? We have always had great experiences here with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Adam and Ryan are amazing! They have always done whatever we need. Adams knowledge of medications is awesome and he usually doesn't have to look up the info. Ryan is the guy to go to for insurance questions and issues and he helps us with patient assistance programs for the medicines we need but cannot afford. These two men are who makes this pharmacy work!nSometimes as customers I think we can forget how much work goes in to filling a prescription. There are so many steps that have to be done.nIf there were one thing I could change it would be the drive up pharmacy. When I've waited in line for what seems like a long time I get frustrated that someone who has just pulled up to the window gets helped before the next person in line in the store. I've only used the drive up twice and both times were because I was quite sick. I think it would be a good idea to designate the drive up for people who have handicap parking permits. Just a thought.nnGREAT JOB TO THE STAFF! Keep on doing a wonderful job!
