Lafayette RV park has not done anything wrong or broken any laws in regards to Mr. Tripp's lies in his review. The space was rented Friday right before closing at 6 pm. His application was not received until Monday morning long after the space was rented. “Right after she got off the phone with me she called another person, and gave the spot to them. “ That is a flat out lie. Someone that was approved earlier in the week that had previously declined the space called right before closing at 6 pm and stated they changed their mind. Mr. Tripp had not yet submitted his application at that time. “as long as my application was approved I would have a place to live. “ Also a lie. He was never promised anything. What he was actually told & misinterpreted was that there was a space available at the time I spoke to him. Period. Said space was never promised to him. All spaces are 1st come 1st served. No exceptions. Application fees are never refundable. That is standard industry wide. That fee gets paid directly to the screening company and the property has no control over it. Yes, I hung up on him when he started yelling at me. I refuse to stay on the phone with an unreasonable person yelling at me.

Great long term park. Clean and safe. Everyone keeps to themselves, its really quiet. Management is totally awesome is hands on and frequently walks the property to keep things in check.

Was told there was a space available for me to rent Friday afternoon. Put in the application that night, for $45. Right after she got off the phone with me she called another person, and gave the spot to them. I quit a job and accepted another job because she told me that as long as my application was approved I would have a place to live. I have good credit and rental history so I was sure I had a place. She apologized and told me I could have a spot in a couple months and would not even refund the $45 application fee that I paid after she had already given the spot to someone else. She was extremely defensive right off the bat, because she knew what she did was wrong. Then hung up on me after repeatedly talking over me and refusing to let me speak.

A very nice place to live and very close to the ocean that makes it a amazing place to live along with the amenities.

Lived in this park and it was a rat hole. New owners have upgraded, cleaned out the trash and it has a new atmosphere, Maintence lives on the property and is qualified to handle day to day requests. . Restrooms are cleaned daily and no fear of clothes being stollen while your in the shower. The Manager is upbeat friendly and flexible if you follow park policy's and rules.
