Riverside Park

Real nice park. Been there twice, so far. Wasn't impressed, 1st time; several meth-heads cruising around, on a weekday. But Saturday was really nice. Beautiful vistas, awesome rock formations, great paved walking trail. Looking forward to exploring more.

The city has been working on improving this park. There is new playground equipment, but many of the overlooks have been torn down because they were neglected for so long. It would be nice if the city replaced them. The paved areas need some maintenance work as well. There was also quite a bit of trash in this area.

This was a nice park to visit while visiting family from out of town. The play structures were fun for our kids but the swings are way too low. It makes it difficult to swing as a child and extra difficult to push a child. They need to be raised several links.nThe trail was nice. The water was very high when we were there. There are ramadas with picnic tables and plenty of trash cans. There are bathrooms, but the stalls are completely open. Overall a nice park to visit for play and a good walk.
