I live fairly close by and have been wanting to walk through the park, but I've found it kind of scary. That changed today. The forest is lovely and well used by other members of my neighborhood. I'm looking forward to exploring the other trails.

Best place to take kids into a forest in the middle of the burbs. There is a kid friendly section that allows them to be kids:build forts, dig holes, look for critters, be free, find sticks, hike around. It seems to be like 10* cooler in there on hot days. My go to place when the kids need relief from the blazing sun and we still want to be outdoors.

Wonderful place to walk around. Pet and kid friendly. Also a fun place to trade painted rocks! If you find any, post on the Facebook site listed on the back of the rock!

Great little loop in the middle of the suburbs! It's at least 10 degrees cooler under the canopy of trees. I went on a really hot day and was instantly cooled off when I was walking around the trail. It's super close to Sexton Mountain as well, check that out afterwards!
