So good! Only complaint is that they are extremely expensive.
Amazing. Full of flavor. Lots of meat. Friendly staff.
Do not order anything extra if you use Waiter or Uber Eats. You will get your sandwich, but no chips, cookies, etc. It's the driver's responsibility to retrieve this. You would think the restaurant would put them in a bag to be sure the order is correctly fulfilled. When our company called the driving service they never got back to us, so when we called Firehouse to see if we could pickup the rest of our order, the guy on the phone was rude and told us we could not come pickup the rest of the order.
These are some of my favorite sandwiches and my favorite subs not only in this state but others. I was shocked today by the price of my meal today though $16 for a large sandwich with drink and side. I didn't buy a steak with chicken parm and mashed potatoes or shrimp or anything. Just not sure why a sandwich combo should cost so much.. if I wanted to give to the firefighters and first responders and came in with 20 bucks I'd be forced to say no because now I only have $4... just my thoughts. But the subs are great!
I love the hook and ladder sandwich. I haven't been in a while so am surprised to order a small and find out it is half a sandwich. In the past it was a whole sandwich if I remember correctly... just not as big as a regular. I did not see anything on the online menu that gave you an idea of what you would get for the different sizes. Has this changed from the past? I do not remember ever getting this small of a sandwich before in the past.
