This tiny store is jam packed with beautiful things. I go for the dried chiles - they have almost all the ones I use: chile california, new mexico, de puya, ancho, cascabel, guajillo, japones, chipotle, and two harder-to-find chiles, the miniscule chile tepin and chile pequin. The dried chiles are always at the peak of freshness, evidenced by the deep colors and aroma. I also buy jicama petals here and they're insanely fresh, so much so that they're not even fully dried. They brew up very strong. One day, I'll have to check out the rest of the store, because I head straight for the above ingredients every time and go straight to the register.

Moved here from San Diego looking for a quality Mexican market. I bought a bunch of items to make my own tostilocos and of course loaded up on some candy. I didn't realize this until later but probably 60% of the items I purchased were expired. Pretty disappointing.

Their tortas and smoothies are delicious! Good price, good food! Everything is basically organic!
