Pocahontas Aquatic Center

Male lifeguard on diving board was not doing his job. Observed several kids jumping on top of other kids already in the water. Spoke to front desk. Doesn't seem they did anything but send him back to his post. Watch your children close because he is not. Hope no one gets hurt. First time being here. Nice water park. Staff very friendly and place is clean. Decent choice of music. Will be back, hope that life guard moves on to an easier job though. Sitting in a chair and watching the swimmers seems to be too difficult for him.

Pools are amazing and clean. The prices are fair and I love the aerobics pool is so good.

Just wanted to say that overall this is a great place to spend a few hours with the family. However as a disabled person the fact that there is very little shade takes a star. There is plenty of room for lots more umbrellas, and/or picnic tables. Pocahontas, renting chairs for 3 bucks is a great money maker but with so little shade to put them under is uncomfortable as well as dangerous in some cases. This is not a new place so there is no excuse.nnAll that being said, we had a good time. Could have been much better with shade from the high temperatures and sun.

It's a lot of fun, and a really good price. My older kids have a blast, and my younger kids love it as well. I just wish they were open longer.

Wonderful place for the family. I do wish the older kids would be more patient w/o the younger kids on the diving board.
