Very professional experience.
Our car buying process was a really great experience, and I am hard to please! Jim Russell was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable, and financing our new car was quick and easy. We are so pleased with our new Chevy Equinox in every way! Thanks, Russell!
Long story short, gave us the car without making sure financing was secure. Even sent us the paperwork and sales tax check to get tags. Got tags on the car. Almost a month after leaving the car lot with the car the salesman (Jim Russell) calls and says GM Financial wouldn’t fund the loan because the loan to value ratio was too high. Got the run around from salesman and finance guy. Contacted sales manager after obtaining our own financing. Worked for over a week to get things straightened out in order to purchase the car. As of today, deal is dead. They sold our trade in as well. So now my son who has a job he needs to get to doesn’t have a car to get there. They were not supposed to send paperwork for tags nor sale the trade in before financing was secure. Everything they did was illegal in the State of Arkansas. I have now contacted the Attorney General’s office and gotten them involved. Buyers beware. I have bought cars from Russell in years past, but it seems that now they no longer believe in doing business with integrity. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.
