Had my first appointment today. I so love my hair. My hair has never been this soft since I been natural. I love Alisha attitude and she is so down to earth and very educated when it come to the overall health of hair. So ready for this natural journey. Thanks Alisha
Best salon for natural hair hands down. Alisha and her staff do everything from twist outs to locs to braid styles to silk outs. They are professional and move quicker than most salons. The artwork is amazing and most of the photos are of actual clients or staff. Alisha manages my hair and two of my daughters. They are genuinely passionate about hair health.
I had a wait time and had a hard time finding the place, which didn’t bother me much. It was irritating that they wouldn’t answer the phone for a whole 30 minutes because I had come around the area super early. My appointment was at 9. I got to the area at 8:15. This was April 5th. I went for a silk press with Alisha as my stylist. I don’t know if she put chemicals in my hair or not. She put me under some type of heat thing with this stuff that she said was a hydration moisturizer, but I put my hair in a bun for the next few weeks, It’s time for me to wash it and I have severe heat damage. Like I had to cut at least 8-10 inches off of my hair. I’m embarrassed and depressed. I’ve been natural since 2013 and I’m really passionate about my hair. My hair use to be passed bra strap length, now it’s barely passed my neck. I can’t believe this. I’m really hurt, but I guess that’s my fault for letting someone do my hair. It’ll never happen again. All the hard work that I’ve put into my hair, RUINED and GONE. I’ll swear to God never let anyone touch my head again! I damn near want to call my lawyer. My feelings are so hurt.
Great salon. Recommending it to all my friends and family. The owner and her staff are excellent. It was an experience all will enjoy.
