This used to be the place to go before the pandemic hit. They have probably more anything than any Honda dealer. But now since stock is low everywhere they take advantage of you. For example in September 2020. I had to pay list price than handling fees of $85.plus $340 for freight plus title fee of $20.50 plus Ar. sales tax of $326. Can't blame them I guess I should have waited and went somewhere else. But they have lost me for a customer. On the plus side. Salesman and finance lady very nice. FYI
Love my talon. I've been dealing with Mark at this dealership for probably 2 months. He got everything I wanted on my talon and was always helpful when I had questions. Let's see how the next few months go and I will update if needed. If you need a Honda call Mark at Honda of Russellville.
This is the poorest run business I have encountered, and I know business as I have ran a large successful one for years and still going strong. This dealership placed a live auction on EBay, then they ignored their listing and gave the internet’s sale department a three day weekend off. I called Saturday early afternoon spoke to a salesman, who told me a little bit about the vehicle for sale, I told him I was a potential customer and would probably hit the buy it now option on EBay and pay the deposit.nnI ended the call and ended the auction and paid the $500 deposit. I placed notes for them to contact me to arrange the paperwork and taking possession. I waited for the salesman I initially talked to to return from lunch, the other salesman when I called said he couldn’t help me because they work totally on commissions. Ok that was fine a few hours later I get a call telling me that a deposit was taken in house on the vehicle earlier in the day. I was like why wasn’t I told that the very moment I called first and ended the auction and paid the deposit, and forced to sit hours later to find this out? I was then explained the the internet sales department was off for a 3 day weekend, so nobody was manning the auction so to speak. I said what about my $500 deposit, please refund it. They said I would have to wait until Tuesday until the internet department returned to work to process the refund.nnSo here is why I say if it the poorest run company, who sells vehicles online a from a dealership without having staff constantly monitoring their status in real time? Of course I was given some moot excuse that that there is a disclaimer in their listing that states they have a right tonSell the vehicle in-house prior to the close of the auction. I understand the disclaimer, however the company has a due diligence to staff someone to immediately end the auction as soon as an in-house sale or deposit was accepted, so that others online a tying up their money on a vehicle that isn’t for sale anymore. Had I not called again after I ended I would have not been called back hours later and told anything, I would have been waiting 3 days for the internet department of their dealership to return on Tuesday say “whoops we totally missed that one”. Here is what I really think, I wan the auction and then someone walked in and wanted to purchase it and they had to make a snap decision, sell right now and avoid paying the auction fees. Lesson for them “if you place a live auction then staff people to monitor it fully, or don’t place one at all!” The lesson for me was do business elsewhere that has a competent team that knows how to properly handle a business.
Frankly, I do not know how Russellville Honda gets such high reviews. My experience was far from good. I bought a new Honda Pioneer side-by-side in mid April. I paid $18,000 cash. Two weeks later when it needed its initial servicing , as recommended by Honda, I was told it would be two months. They put me on a waiting list. It is nearly July and still have not heard from them. They are big on sales, but sorry on service. Wish I had bought elsewhere.
I order 2 shocks which were not as requested. These shocks will not work.nI have repeatedly called with no one answering. Went to voice mail but again, no response. My next call is to American Express. They will solve this problem.
