I don't know why I haven't written a review of this sweet little store! It is full of creations and foods made locally! It is an excellent place to get Portland Syrups, handmade dried pasta, specialty popping corn, locally made wines and, what am I forgetting? COFFEE! They roast their own coffee! It is always flavorful, but not as bitter as the ubiquitous mall shops. Their medium roast coffees make for an excellent espresso to drink with a locally made shortbread or any of the wonderful chocolates they stock. For your holiday gift giving, I can't think of a better place to find lovely gifts that support local artisans.
A great place to shop for specialty gifts for friends and family. Support downtown Hillsboro, no crowds, and the owners are super-friendly and helpful.
Coffee I bought today was roasted THIS MORNING! Great flavor, prices, customer service, friendly, professional. Hillsboro MUST. Even if you ship to family and friends it will be fresher than anything in a store!
Ran into the owner restocking shelves at New Seasons this week. Was trying to find the brand my daughter loves (and I do now, too) while not realizing he was the owner. We talked, it looked familiar, bought the Dark Roast Brazil and also a medium roast and, sure enough, right brand. Great, locally roasted coffee!!
This place is awesome! The owners are so nice, and have so much experience with coffee and other items, like making your own cheese! A very organized store filled with only local items, and great prices. Also, they give a great educational coffee presentation daily, you can taste all the different roasts...and get a great cup of coffee too.
