Lost In The Ozarks (11/18/2020)
Kyle's Landing is a tent only campground and canoe launch on the Buffalo River. The camp sites are on a first-come-first-serve basis and are tent-only campsites. This is a primitive campground with no electricity. There are toilets and water available from march 15-November 14. The road to the campground is quite steep and rough. It is not recommended for passenger cars, especially in wet weather. The scenery along the Buffalo River is spectacular.

Granted, we were there mid week. Only two other campgrounds occupied. Choose a spot on the dirt, under trees, close to river. Absolutely gorgeous!! Bathrooms decent. Flush toilets. Good mirror. Trash cans. Write these trek getting there, down dirt and rock road. Would be a big challenge is rainy or muddy!

A beautiful and serene tent campground tucked down in the Buffalo National River Valley. The entire campground is very clean, including the flush restrooms. The road to get down is a little rough, but my Tesla Model 3 made it with no issues. There is a trailhead in the campground that connects to the Buffalo River Trail as well as Indian Creek trail that snakes up a steep canyon with multiple waterfalls. There is a boat and float launch with a nice section of still water to float around in the summer time with towering bluffs overhead. In late August there were very few fellow campers, but it was a bit rainy and I'm assuming spring and fall are the busy season. Oh and there is electricity at the campground host spot and in the restroom if you need to top off your service-less cell phone or in my case, my car.

Such a beautiful place! Nice primitive camping with restrooms available. The real win is the location! It's a bit off of the paved road so be prepared but it's risky worth the effort!
