Dogwood Springs Campground

Such a great weekend! We came down to the Buffalo River area without a campsite reservation and everywhere was packed...oops. Found this place last minute and they were so accommodating! We were tent camping, so all we really needed was a fire pit and an open area. Bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait for the stall, fire wood was available, and there’s plenty of parking space. So grateful for the last minute accommodations on a busy weekend. Beautiful area and great camping trip!

Wonderful stay! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The site was a little tricky to get into, but that added to the adventure. The sites were very nice, fire rings were nice with the built in grill area. We liked that the sites were gravel and not sand or dirt. It was a much cleaner stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I'm not much of a camper, I chose a cabin over tents, others in my group camped in tents. The sites were closer together then I expected from other experiences, but with our large group, this really worked in out favor. If I was doing this same kind of group event, I would come to dogwood springs again.nnGas station less than a mile away, a restaurant a couple miles away, and a whole lot of scenery when you're driving around.

We loved the family/pet friendly atmosphere. We stayed in Cabin #27 and it was perfect! We stopped at Walmart in Harrison before checking in and picked up grocery to cook during our stay. the kitchenette and our cabin had dishes such as pots and pans and a couple of utensils to use. I would recommend though if you're cooking for more than two people to maybe pack your own as all of the pots and pans were very small. We did use the grill outside as well and it worked all right. They also had spots to hang hammocks and out cabin even had a little private fence which was so nice! The only reason that I couldn't give a five-star review is that the bathroom didn't have a shower head so the water just kind of sprayed out at you. and management did not enforce people to clean up after their pets so when we were walking our dog there was piles of poop. They also did not enforce the animals to be on leashes so there was one dog that was just kind of running around by their RV and barking at everybody that walked past. They also didn't enforce dogs to be quiet after quiet time had started for the night so you could often hear dogs barking At the tent sites. All in all we really enjoyed our stay despite the small issues and we'll 100% be going back!nnThe shower that is pictures is the one for tent campers to use. Also pardon our mess in the kitchen but I wanted to show just how much the small area could store!nnI do recommend checking the hours of the shops in Jasper if you plan to do a little shopping. The restaurants and the stores all have really weird hours So sadly we were only able to go to maybe two or three of the places in Jasper But that had no effect on our rating of the campgrounds.

This place is really beautiful. It is nestled in the mountains by Jasper. We have a 32 ft fifth wheel and it was kind of rough getting into our spot. There was a tight corner we had to round but we made it. Our spot was large and had a covered picnic table (which was nice because it rained). They had 50amp full hookups which was nice. The pool was clean and it had a cool slide. The staff was really nice. They were more than willing to tell us about places to dine and go hike.nThe bathrooms could use some updating. The toilets were clean but the showers were in need of some paint and new shower heads.nWe are looking forward to coming back. ud83dude0a
