A well-tended, old, rural gasoline station and convenience store. Great selection of items for such a tiny town store. Staff conscientious, polite & helpful,.

So you are on your way to Long Pool Campground on the Big Piney Creek, and you realize that you are out in the middle of nowhere and need gas, coffee, ice or snacks. What in the heck do you do? You stop at the Hagarville Grocery & Station! They still make coffee in a coffee pot, and it is perfectly brewed and hot. The folks that own the place are incredibly sweet and friendly, and remind me of growing up in the country where people still look at you and smile as you enter and as you leave. Stop by and give them love.

This is the only fuel or food stop in the area, and is located right at the intersection of highways 123 and 164. The owners are sweet, country people, that treat you like an old friend.nnThey carry ice, snacks, soda pop, staple food and grocery items, paper products, propane refills, a few popular ammo calibers and shotgun shells, etc. They have those delicious Petit Jean deli meats like I grew up with, and will happily make you a fresh-to-order sandwich. We like to take a drive from Clarksville, stop at Hagerville Store to get sammies and chips, and then go to beautiful Haw Creek Park down Hwy.123 to eat.nnThis is one of the few old-time country stores left, that's just like there used to be everywhere back 50 years ago. Going in here is like a trip back in time for me, and brings up lots of great childhood memories.nnI think Christmas Day is nearly the only time they ever close. Whether you're camping at Longpool, at deer camp on Piney Creeks WMA, hiking one of the nearby trails, or taking a scenic weekend drive in the mountains, it's the place to go for what you need when you realize you don't have it!
