We came to Girabaldi to escape the smoke in clackamas county & uncle Roland suggested this spot. Never thought I would say it...but I liked it better than Bowpicker in Astoria (another must try fish & chips if you are up there).nThis place is amazing. 10 stars. We tried tuna, halibut and ling cod...all were great (tuna is our favorite). If you're in or around tillamook you should try it.

Best fish and chips! Had the ling cod that was perfectly battered and crispy with juicy tender fish inside. Fast service too. We would definitely make a stop for this again. Now if only there was good bowl of chowder too!

Friendly guy working alone out of food truck. As good as you are likely to get anywhere on Oregon coast and we've been to a bunch. Many places serve fish obviously from a supermarket freezer, but not here. My kids loved it, but a bit greasy for my taste. Keeps it from getting top marks.

Great place! The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I got the Ling cod and calamari, and both were great.

We stayed at the Inn next door and visited this roadside fish and chips stand based on the front desk recommendation. It was FANTASTIC!! 10/10 would recommend. Their prices are comparable to any fish and chip spot I've visited, but their portions and freshness deliver. The batter was the right amount of thin, but also crispy. The batter flavor shows up to the party, but remembers that it's a showcase for the fish and keeps its place. I ordered the Ling Cod and when it arrived it was flaky, juicy, and evenly battered. With a pinch of lemon, I'd be happy to announce it as perfection on a plate. I also sampled the the clam strips and was surprised to learn that when fresh, as these were, clams are not rubbery or chewy. IKR! I didn't know either!!! So, with places like these, my number one concern is with the freshness of ingredients. Well allow my photos to put that concern to rest. Less than an hour prior, that Oregon Halibut was swimming in the ocean! Thank you for coming to my TED talk. *Mic Drop* Out.
