Misty River RV Park and Glamping

Loni, Stan, & Kristine were a blessing. They were so kind and accommodating! Loni blew me away by the way she helped me in a couple situations some of my best friends wouldn't have. They're all a reminder that good people still exist! They kept the park clean and everything working. People are friendly but mostly stay to themselves. There's of course a few of those bored people who always want to start drama or that can't be pleased. I heard and read somethings about the park and management that was during my stay that wasn't my experience or simply not true. I'd recommend staying here.

I usually visit this place 3 or 4 times a summer, In the last 2 months I have tried calling the office several times a week to try to book a spot, I never got an answer nor did I get a call back. So over the last weekend I drove down just a see what was happening at this place. And I'm sad to say that it has turned into an absolute dump. Trash bins are the leaking all over the place trash was piled high. It looks like they allowed a lot of hoarders to move in. absolutely disgusting. Apparently they have new management, and that was a mistake the old management did a wonderful job and had that place clean all the time.

Nice location near a river and beautiful view.nThe RV park is on the dense side.nWhen we got there the spot we booked was occupied. When we called for help they told us to use another spot that was also already occupied. Booking cannot be done online, you have to call and talk to someone, and this probably causes confusion at high session. To be fair, they did all they could to help us get a spot fast, and we ended up getting a spot at the edge of the park which was nice and wide. Unfortunately, there was toilet paper scattered around our area.nOverall, okay.

My wife and I needed to get away for the weekend so we decided to stay at Misty River. We had stayed here before but had the most horrible experience. However, the new managers made my wife and I feel welcomed from the moment we got there! They keep the park bathrooms/showers very clean and we were impressed how personable they were. Everyone at the park seemed to be enjoying themselves and that speaks volumes about how the managers are respected there. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon! (Covid depending).

Nice people good staff very helpful. I would definitely recommend misty river to anyone.
