Nice view of the area.
Beautiful view of the trees and sky.
Nice open trail with fabulous views as you hike up along the side of the mountain. Footing is quite rocky in places and there are no benches. Watch for the stairway leading to the overlook on Goat Rock. This trail intersects with Gulpha Gorge trail and Dead Chief (aka Oertel) trail. This photo was taken from the overlook.
Great trail for an early morning hike or run, before the crowds show up. Late October when it's cool is nice, but lots of leaves on the trees still somewhat block the views.
If you like hiking this is a great place if your quiet you might see some wildlife
