Cape Falcon Trailhead

Beautiful, muddy, trail that winds up through the forest. We were there in October and saw some cool looking mushrooms along with all of the trees and coastal views. The finish rewards you with a wind cleared grassy area with water views on both sides.

Great hike. Fairly easy apart from the mud and roots. Awesome views along the way and at the end. Take some spare shoes and a bag to put them in if your worried about mud in the car!

Long hike, make sure to bring your boots. Trails full off puddle of muds.. dogs will love it, bring blankets to cover your back seats for them, you are welcome

Since Ecola state park is closed we tried this new one out and it was amazing!! We started at 9am and were for the most part the only ones on the trail until our way back. Gorgeous hike in, and breathtaking overlook views of the beach, there were a ton of surfers doing their thing. We will definitely be back to hike this beautiful trail again!

Great hike for the adventure minded. Beautiful views from this trail. Even on July 13, 2020 there are some extremely muddy patches. Not a trail for kids under 10 or elderly. Wear boots or old shoes because you WILL GET MUDDY.
