This is a beautifully rustic and quaint little winery!! So welcoming and the grounds are also quite beautiful. Peggy was just the sweetest! We enjoyed chatting with her!! She is very friendly and funny and makes you feel very welcome!! Oh, and I guess I should mention the wine, it is wonderful!! My favorite is the Elderberry!! Big Daddy Port is a must try!!!!

This original picture, which has been on display for decades in the winery, is of the Post family picking grapes in the early 1900's where the winery is locatednnMount Bethel Winery is a family owned and operated business that has been handed down for generations.  The Post family has a long history in winemaking and currently, all 8 of the children of Eugene Post help him operate the winery and vineyards.  You can see all of them working because the Post tradition is that all members of the family are active members of the winery.

Of all the winery’s in the area, this one is my favorite. I’m not big on sweet wine and they have a nice couple of options that aren’t sweet. The grounds are antique and the horses are beautiful. We like to set in the chairs under the big pecan tree and watch the horses. Give yourself some extra time at this location!

The best in the area! Great selection of wine! Awesome shirts and other neat souvenirs! Great helpful staff, accommodating of medical conditions in these trying times!!

Delicious port...plan to bring home a bottle of Big Daddy. Elderberry wine was an unexpected treat. Oldest winery in Arkansas and you can tell they know what they are doing. Good prices. Well worth the trip out.
