I wanted to duplicate a couple keys. I had seen on the internet that KeyMe would duplicate standard house keys for $2.99. I could understand if prices had gone up a little recently but WOW, $7.99 for ONE KEY? The deal was buy two get one free, but that’s still $16 for three keys if you even need that many. I passed.
After 6 or 7 phone calls and talking to 3 different people, i do not think this place is professional and after waiting 5 hours the guy finally shows up and starts getting into the car without telling me the cost beforehand. They said a $29 service charge and it was $30. They said he would tell me what the fee was before he started. He was already working on car when i got outside. What if i hadn't had $100? The tech did not verify that i owned the vehicle .he also didnt like me watching him, because he said he would knock on door when he was done. So, it's now after 1 am, im obligated to pay the 100 and couldn't even watch the tech get into my vehicle. Because it was so late i was ready to get my keys out of the car and be done. I appreciate him unlocking the car but, didnt appreciate the run a round nor the wait.
