We stayed here in our RV on the way to and from Michigan from Texas. We arrived after the main office had closed, our site was reserved with our information left at the site. Very easy to get in & out. The campsites are very spacious and nice with picnic tables, fire pits and gravel. The bathhouses were clean and well kept. The access to the water is perfect if you wanted to fish/kayak/paddle board. We will be coming back to camp soon, highly recommend!

Simply amazing!!!!nWe reverted the Yurt, which was the first time that we've done this. The park was almost completely full, yet there were parking spaces, and not crowded. As an added treat, one of the rangers even brought by a bundle of wood that was left at a campsite when he noticed that we were getting kindling to set up for the night. Walking towards the dam mountain trail, we spotted a few dear and head fantastic veiws in every direction. Sunrise was amazing as was sunset over looking the lake. Definitely worth the trip.

Camping site is well kept and plenty of fire pits and grills to use. Restrooms are clean also.

We enjoyed the park. We rented a kayak and a paddle board and went to the waterfall. The waterfall was low because of a lack of recent rain but the rocks were interesting and the water refreshing.

I have been going there all my life and I absolutely love it! The hiking, fishing, and swimming are all wonderful here at Lake Catherine!
