My husband and I recently went out on the water for the Friday night sunset paddle and had a fantastic time! Being from out of state, we had a couple of questions before/after booking and Melody was very helpful & detailed with information provided. From the beginning, Melody was friendly, thorough when giving safety instructions, and helpful about getting to the best spots on the lake. The equipment was clean, sturdy, and overall in good condition. Melody even went above and beyond by taking wonderful pictures of us while watching the sunset together. Definitely recommend this location & adventure!
Unforgettable experience! Beautiful scenery and easy to get to at Big Clifty park. Melody’s dedication to ensuring a wonderful experience is evident by her thorough instructions and caring attitude. If you’ve never tried paddle boarding or have significant experience, you cannot go wrong here.
My daughter and I had a fabulous time learning the basics of SUP. Melody is an amazing, encouraging instructor. She's so sweet, and also took pics for us! Getting over the learning curve is tough at first for newbies, but don't get discouraged! It's worth it!
My husband and I and our two teenagers had a fabulous time learning how to paddle board. Melody was a wonderful instructor and we all picked it up fairly quickly with her guidance. We then explored Beaver Lake on our own. So much fun and a beautiful, quiet area of the lake. Would love to do again and we all agreed that this was our favorite activity while on vacation.
We did a lesson with Melody and rented boards for 3 hours to paddle down to the hogscald hollow area.nnThe lesson was great! I've never been able to stand on a board before (tried twice) and not only was I able to stand, but paddle for a long time while standing. At the end of our time, I really felt like I understood how to do it well.nnThe bluffs and waterfalls in hogscald hollow were so beautiful and peaceful. It was our favorite thing we saw our entire trip to Eureka Springs. Highly suggest taking the time to get out there. We were beginners, and though we were tired by the time we got back, we were still able to do it.nnGo in the morning, the water gets rougher towards noon and harder to paddle on. Be prepared to carry your paddle board down the hill to the water.
