Black Bass Lake. Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Very easy, less than a mile, hike around a small body of water. Most of the hike is right next to the water, offering views of the surrounding hills and water. There is some parking, but the road in and out is pretty narrow, bumpy. Drive careful! Great early morning easy hike to hit before or while drinking your morning coffee.

Very nice mostly shaded trail. Got to enjoy several butterflies and beautiful wild flowers. No wildlife really observed. This trail is not clearly marked, but just always to the trail that goes parallel to the Lake and you will be fine. Most of the trails lead to the same place anyway. I'm happy that we did it once, but I probably wouldn't do it again.

Very easy, pretty and short trail around lake. There was another trail I did not take, so it may be more difficult than the one around the lake. Signs weren’t always clear, and the first sign indicated the first trail was much longer than it really was. Still, good way to burn energy for kids or young dogs.

The lake was so beautiful! Green/blue, so clear and calm. Highly recommend a quick stop if nothing else. Great trail around the lake.

Beautiful walking trail. No fish in this pond though. Would not recommend fishing.
