The Melonlight Ballroom is a FUN and friendly place to learn ballroom dance in a beautiful space. I signed up for my first private ballroom lessons (ever!) at Melonlight while vacationing in Eureka Springs. The classes were the highlight of my stay in Eureka.nnRaymond and Emily are a dynamite team with a passion for dance that is absolutely contagious! Raymond is an experienced and talented instructor. He knows how to use encouragement, gentle corrections, patience and a lot of HUMOR to make each lesson productive and enjoyable. Emily has a wealth of dance knowledge and she made some great suggestions for how I can continue practicing in my hometown.nnI cannot recommend Melonlight Ballroom highly enough. A truly delightful experience. I am already planning to visit again. :)

Have you ever stepped inside an old home and you weren’t really sure if it was haunted from something traumatically horrible that happened or wondered where the previous owners are and why they left the place? Well maybe you can get your answers at the Melonlight, when you watch the theatrical production of Anna. This show was absolutely entertaining. We were so impressed with how well it was written and produced. Bravo to Emma Anne, who wrote an amazingly entertaining play with few cast members and props. There were several twist and turns throughout the production that left everyone guessing. I was impressed with how it felt like I was involved in the story and could feel every expression and emotion the characters were feeling and doing. It was a roller coaster of emotions from funny to scary. It was a show that went by too quickly, because we were always waiting to see what the next scene was about. We loved the dancing that was added to several scenes! The cast was super friendly and let us take photos. So grab a beer, a coffee, or something to snack on downstairs and go upstairs to the Melonlight to enjoy the ride! Well worth the time and money! We’d see it again!

My husband and I went to the Melonlight to take private salsa dance lessons. It was worth every penny! We had a fun time connecting with one another, learning to listen to each other, and bonding on a different level that we've never experienced before. Raymond was truly a fantastic instructor! We had a great time and took home some new dance moves! We'll have to come back next time we're in Eureka Springs.

Absolutely everyone there was just as nice as could be and made my wife and I comfortable and very welcome. They didn't treat us as good customers, they treated us more as friends, and it was very much appreciated! Quality of instruction was amazing and as someone who can not dance (and knows it very well) and therefor is extremely self conscious, they helped me get over that in a hurry. I went from embarrassed to dance in front of my wife to doing the Thriller dance with their group in front of thousands of people in less than a week. If you get a chance and have ever even remotely thought of taking a dance class, you owe it to yourself to go by and take a lesson here.
