I have bought cars and have had them financed through major banks and their lenders denied me because they said I was a first time buyer that needed a cosigner.... like what? Makes absolutely no sense. I had to call back multiple times to check in even though I was promised a phone call back every single time. Literally wasted three days on these people. Go somewhere else that will actually call you back and run a proper credit report.
Ken Sluyter is the man! I've had a run of bad luck with buying used in the past and he helped straighten me out by getting me out from under a bad SUV. My SUV was having power steering problems and he was willing pay me cash for a vehicle I was going to be upside down in. He's also looking for a new SUV to replace the one we got out from under. He doesn't typically buy vehicles that are breaking but ours seemed worth the risk for him after his mechanic checked it out.nSometimes I like to visit his lot just to see what's new because his inventory is always changing. He has a good eye for used vehicles and won't steer you wrong. If you need financing he also has options for you there. We purchased a Ford Mustang and he helped us get financing with an interest rate that was nearly 1% lower than anyone else. Not a huge difference but still lower.nHis car lot is in a tough spot to access though with only 1 entrance off of S Walton next to Fire House Subs. During the rush hours before and after work good luck getting in and out quickly.nFull disclosure he is a personal friend of mine but that being said I've had the best experience with any car lot with him. Waited 3 days for them to call me back about a vehicle. When I got the phone call I drove all the way up to Bentonville to test drive. When I finished the test drive I walked in to find out the vehicle had just been sold to someone else. Could’ve been much more professional.
