Rebuilt the transmission and about a year later transmission stops working. Have a mechanic look at it and was told that the transmission shop that did the rebuild laid the shifting cable on the exhaust and it burnt the shifter cable in half. Called Hector and his response was that it was normal for Fords to do that. He then said it would be quite some time before he could get to it. I ended up buying the part and paid another mechanic to fix it. I will NEVER send a person to that shop.

Asked for a rebuild thinking it would last me a long time and payed for it my tranny lasted 7 months my motor came back with a check engine light and leaking oil how does a new transmission brake down in such a short time they told me I had three month warranty that doesn't sound like they had faith in there work lasting like most places that give u a year don't waste ur money or time
