I frequently fly into airports of this size. This by far is the cleanest, well maintained facility I have been to in a while. Personable staff and great fuel prices as well. Highly recommended for anyone passing through!
I love KSLG. This is a great small town airport. A long and wide runway which is always kept in great shape. The airport staff and management is always more then willing to help and the FBO is always kept in pristine order, along with one of the best maintenance shops in the area. This keeps KSLG a great little gem in the NWA area.
Dan Gryder making up an alias to write a bad review about the current airport manager Sean Baker, speaks volumes about his own character. Dan being at this airport has run down the quality of community we had at the airport. That’s the type of dishonest person Dan Gryder is. He will lie, cheat, steal and try to convince you that you are the one lying to manipulate any and every situation. If you are going to slander someone on a public site you should at least get the facts right. Obviously, Dan is unable to tell the truth even a little; but instead posts down right lies.nSean Baker has been the best airport manager we have had in the last 14 years. The grounds are always keep up very nice. Except around Dan Gryder’s hanger, where they is constantly trash thrown about. As well as huge ruts next to his hanger that can’t be mowed over.nSean has always displayed the utmost professionalism when dealing with anyone - even Dan. For a small airport like KSLG, it has many things to offer like an air conditioned FBO with lounge, computer and FREE WiFi. Very clean bathrooms, a conference room available upon request, snack machines and a good dependable courtesy car. Hopefully, one day the city will grow enough to budget municipalities like overnight hangers and tug services, oxygen and nitrogen There’s not much icing in Arkansas but I’m sure Sean and his crew would give it there best to help de-ice an airplane if needed. If we want the airport to get to that level we can’t have people like Dan Gryder here bringing down the quality tenants that are at KSLG. If he stays, I foresee more tenants moving their business elsewhere; as some already have like SLG Aviation for example.
Place is like a gost town on weekends except for the sky diversnDon’t expect anything but self serve here if it’s after 5 or a weekend
