This church is located on Av. Urdaneta at the corner of Santa Capilla, Parroquia Catedral. Its construction dates from 1567, the temple was erected by order of Diego de Losada dates from 1567 and originally called with the name San Sebastián, in honor of who was believed to be the protector of the poisoned arrows of the natives. Later it was replaced by the Gothic-style temple that today is known as a replica of the Holy Chapel of Paris, built during the government of Antonio Guzmán Blanco. In this church we can see the work of Arturo Michelena "The multiplication of the loaves"
