Beautiful experience however, the last stop has been off service for a while now. 4 stars out of five because of that.
Beautiful location to board the longest and highest cable car in the world!
Absolutely a place you have to visit if you are in the city or thinking to go, every station is unique and has different activities and a shortcut for high mountain hikking routes.
Pros:
-New, clean and well maintain installations.
-Smiling and helpful personnel
-Clear instructions to enjoy the place
-Perfect ilumination for pictures
-Diversified restaurants for sweets and salt food.
Cons:
-Only Spanish speaking personnel, some may try to understand you but be prepared, anyways everything is basic and easy to access.
-In the station 4th there are animals, they seen sad and abused. It's really a deprimente situation.
Be aware:
-By climate conditions you may not be able to access all 5 stations.
-To have your ID document in hand is a obligatory requirement.
-Have at least a jacket, 4th and 5th stations are cold!
4/5 stars because of the animal abuse.
Whilst the ride was amazing as it can get, do remember to bring your ID (Cédula) if you're a Venezuelan or your passport if you're a foreigner, otherwise they won't let you into the cable car. And it MUST be the original one, not a copy, or you'll have to pay your ticket twice as a penalty (This happened to me). Other thing to note is that the last station (Pico Espejo, allegedly the best one in the trip) is out of service due to repairs. But otherwise the experience is awesome, with horse rides and a very affordable (For Venezuelan standards) cafe on the Loma Redonda station, an awesome museum in the La Aguada station, and a very nice bar and restaurant on the La Montaña station. A must visit honestly, but I'll ride again when the last station is back in service.
