A profound life changing experience to witness this wonderful action: "La Olla Milagrosa". The Miraculous Pot initiative feeds approximately 500 people in need every Saturday. An army of gentle volunteers runs it like a perfectly tuned up machine. Clean and neat dinner set tables await for their guests who can enjoy a home made bowl of delicious lentil soup or other selected menus. Fray Luis Antonio Salazar accompanies with enthusiasm the generous feast aimed to help and nourish the young, the old and the needed. All of this in a country deprived of food and the most basic needs like water, electricity and health services and medicines. All of this at a time when a Complex Humanitarian Emergency has been declared in Venezuela. What impressed me the most was the joy and love that the team of volunteers showed as well as the beaming faces of children and adults who benefit from this program: ¡super happy! This country, Venezuela and its people, still have a lot to offer. It's beautiful to see these wonderful things.
