It has a nice structure, quite decorative, the square is ideal to sit down to rest, talk, meet groups, you can use the space for various activities, unfortunately not. It works as a library, it is a point of reference to be located in the city, the schedule is not always fulfilled, like all public bodies, apart from not doing a lot of work, they also close early, below in the parking lot, there remains the seat of the bicycle police, which makes it a relatively safe place.

The exterior structure is beautiful, although a library as such is not, since it does not have the service of loans or use of books.

In this site that more than a Library, is a Museum, we can see relics of the Liberator and beautiful paintings and works of art. As Merida and knowing the cultural and tourist tradition of Merida, it is in a state of abandonment. What a pity.
