Vinh Railway Station

This was the first time I went to Vinh City. I always take a bus or take a plane to make a long distance travel. However, in that day, I could not take a bus and the plane's tickets was so expensive.nThat's why I have to take a train to go home. My father and I bought 2 tickets on Vietnamese railway's website dsvn.vn including going to Ho Xa town (my dad) and Da Nang City (me).nVinh Railway Station located on a large space with a lot of trees like in the park, the entrance is so wide which is easy for cars and others vehicles. Besides, there are a lot of small stores and independent store around this railway station which help clients to buy souvenirs from Vinh City, Nghe An Province.nToday, with the development of information technology and the Internet, my father and I are able to buy tickets on websites without going to the Railway Station, so the number of employees is so small in these Stations.nHowever, The Railway tickets from Vinh City to Da Nang City is 512000VND ($US23) for a smooth bed and air conditioner which is so expensive. Even, I think Railway Tickets are more expensive than Plane Tickets.

They got trains, lady at front desk was kind of helpful, saw a mouse on the train

Train with constant delays, nobody speaks English and no English signage at all. I recommend taking the bus is faster and reliable, especially when you have a tour organized.nThe only good thing I can say of this place is the WiFi.

Excellent train station with good service. We had a nice train journey from Hanoi to Vinh and then take a car to explore Western Nghe An. Dong Du Eco Farmstay is a excellent retreat in Thai Hoa with lakes, jungles, farms and nice people

Excllent service. We traveled by train from Hanoi to Vinh and stayed at Dong Du Farmstay to explore Wesern Nghe An. A lovely place to explore while in Central Vietnam
