Unfortunately, despite my appointment, I was not allowed to see the doctor. The doctor's assistant had a problem with my being insured abroad and studying here. This has never been a problem for years! I explained to her that I only have to fill out a form and that you have to fax it to the health insurance company along with my insurance card and ID. She also had the note and said that it only applies to holidaymakers who are only there for a short time and have an emergency. For years I have filled out this slip every quarter and there have never been any problems! Afterwards I called another dentist in Graz and told them that I only had the European health card and would like to have a check-up appointment. That is not a problem at all! All of the arguments I brought to the old lady (previous check-ups, etc.) interested the employee of Dr. Not dark. When I said that I sometimes bite my gums with my incisors, she said it just came from studying and asked if it would bleed. And then I said "sometimes yes". But that would just come from studying! But the good girl wasn't so omniscient that she knew how to do her job (or just didn't feel like doing it). Even if she is old by the time she retires, she should also find out about innovations, etc.! It upsets me that I have sacrificed my time, unplanned for this appointment, only to get upset about the ignorance of the medical assistant! In the meantime I have phoned two other medical assistants from different doctors, and even described the incident from just now. They said if I have a valid international insurance card, I have to do it, and I have! She even got her hands on this incompetent nurse from Dr Dunkl! And now I'm back outside with a painful gum. She did call someone from the ÖGK, but obviously the wrong person who didn't know what to do either. Again he told the opposite of other ÖGK employees. So she probably didn't know where to call. But with her level of knowledge she has been behind for years anyway. For years I have been filling out this slip of paper for every doctor I've been to. She pointed out that you have to fill in a date indicating how long you want to stay in Austria. I meant that up to now I always wrote down some date that was a long time in the future and that I had never had any problems with it for years! She ignored that. Even if she is already old, she may no longer be interested in work and patients, in my opinion a medical assistant should be interested in learning new things on the job and not stick with it, which was probably the case many years ago! When I was outside I even called again and told her that I called another dentist and there is no problem. Nevertheless, I was not allowed to keep my appointment and she just said that I should go there! I will do now too!

We recommend! Would even say perhaps the best dentist in Graz. Very short waiting times at each appointment; barely over 10 minutes. The whole team is very sympathetic, Dr. med. Dunkl himself is very calming with his style. Every treatment up to now only one "Zwicker" absolutely painless.
