Cozy hut on the slopes of the Schneealm, also easily accessible by car. The food is very tasty, the service friendly, but you shouldn't expect the pace of a fast food restaurant. There is enough to see anyway. For example, the hawks, which often fly around the hut, or the beautiful view of the eastern half of the Schneealm.

UtSchutzhütte auf der Falkensteinalm, nur ca. 3,5 Km vom Mürztalradweg R5 entfernt. Ausgezeichnete Ripperl und zum Abschluss die einzigartige Bergsteigertorte nur zum Weiterempfehlen. Umgeben von felsigen Bergen und Weidevieh. Trotz kurzer Wartezeit und gutem Service hat sich der Ausflug absolut gelohnt. 😊😊 🇪🇦 In Upper Styria it is a reason to visit the Falkenstein hut, which is located just 3 kilometers from the Mürz river bike route. The baked pork ribs are really a delight, just like the house cake called "Bergsteigertorte", I recommend this place as a rest destination after a day of cycling. Its majestic view surrounded by great mountains is wonderful. Despite waiting a bit for the food it was worth it because you eat really well in this place. 👏👏😊😊
