It is certainly an extremely unusual restaurant for a campsite. The boss has years of experience in Asia and is Carinthian ... means ... very good cuisine with many authentic local specialties and Asian fusion cuisine. As a specialist, I can only say that the first quality is processed and everything is handcrafted. Worth noting that the chef apparently considers desserts and homemade cakes to be his hobby !! The bosses live hospitality and that every day with a full campsite and a restaurant that serves a bar a hundred people every day! Some guests take some getting used to! The staff lives up to their hospitality and most of the employees come back every year. The restaurant has a wonderful terrace and is also very nice inside and divided into small sections. there are enough parking spaces. Yes it is very crowded in the high season "... if you wonder there are most of the regulars and also local regulars come to eat. Now about the prices. I think there are" cheaper (cheaper) places to eat ... BUT not the same quality must be recognized without envy !! and as everywhere in Carinthia, there are cheaper menus for lunch. So if you want to eat only on price without paying attention to quality and handicraft, this is the wrong place. In my opinion, it is a very good price-performance ratio! It is perhaps also worth mentioning that you can also have a bite to eat or just a dessert in the evening without being looked at when the house is extremely full without grumbling. And we were always treated very politely and courteously, which may be because we greet and ask politely and not appear like the gentlemen of Finkenstein Castle! If you visit the restaurant in the evening / late afternoon you shouldn't forget to watch the sunset on the beach! You will have the opportunity to take beautiful photos at a lake and very special ones from the Faaker See as the sun is setting right across from the island and the Karawanken. Please forgive me ... Very nice place at the campsite ... Reserving in advance would not be wrong ... since there is always quite a rush. The choice of dishes ranges from traditional cuisine to Asian dishes, since the cook has lived in Asia for 20 years and has gained some experience there. Condition is super friendly and accommodating. The only drawback is that the soup portions are a bit small but very tasty.
