The food (smoked "saibling" fish and grilled saibling) was really tasty and well prepared. The price was quite a bit higher than normal in Austria but I think that's normal for such a touristy place. If you order a small dish, the restaurant will deduct only €1.50 from the price of the meal so you might as well get the regular size and share it. All in all it was a pleasant experience in an authentic "rustic" style Austrian restaurant. The place was clean, the service was friendly and the food was yummy. If staying in Altaussee and if you don't mind paying a little more I would recommend this place. We spend approx €55 for two fish dishes, a beer, a water and a salad.

Cozy inn with rustic background music, good menu with lots of fish dishes, super friendly staff !! 👍 The food came very quickly and was really tasty. The portions are not overly large, I still had space for a dessert - baked apple wedges ... are also rarely found on a menu 👌
