The woman running the place was rude and insulting throughout. Was treated coldly and harried for turning up late (7pm). People may be hiking 8+ hours so may not arrive exactly when intended. Dinner was ok but seemed to be just reheated. As I tried to explain at the time (while being insulted to my face) the dog may have got up on the beds while I was out. As a solo hiker I am not sure what they are expecting as I cannot take the dog everywhere to washroom, breakfast etc. so it appears it jumped up while I was out. The hut provides no attempt at simple steps that would avoid any issues such as simple dog betting such as a rug for the floor. Of course I always try to provide these things as best I can but when hiking over 2500m it is not always possible to take everything including the kitchen sink so a little minimal assistance would be nice and obviously in this case the pooch decided their beds looked much more comfy than the simple makeshift bed I could provide - should be taken as a compliment really :). In any case I would have happily cleaned any hairs off the bed as best I could but they rushed everyone out of their room in the morning for cleaning despite the place being near empty.

Lovely alpine hut next to the large parking lot, but alpine / food / snacks very puny! On a ☀Seat Trankl yes ... food no!

Spent 2 wonderful days with you! Thank you! Excellent regional cuisine from very friendly and warm hut hosts. I can only recommend it. We would love to come back !!

The best cordon I've ever eaten. Really heavenly with the great cheese.
