Nice hut with a very classic Austrian flair. It is an ideal stop for a mountain hike. They offer a decent selection of hut classics, especially the dessert. And on top of that there are friendly and competent waiters.

UPDATE: New hosts, new wind! Very friendly and on the ball ... The kitchen is excellent (despite the lack of staff), the landlady is also a funny one. We like to come here. The view is beautiful.

After a hike from Fischbach to the Pretul, excellent food and entertainment, schnitzel and rehragout are a dream. Cafe also very recommendable, strong and right temperature. Finally, in rats, we have someone again on the alm who more than deserves the predicate hüttenwirt. Thumbs up, we'll be back.

Super good food and also very friendly staff! Absolutely recommended if you are there in the vicinity. You also have a wonderful view!

An outstanding location with a view to the south. We were on a sunny winter day with snowshoes on the Pretul, the starting point was Rettenegg and the rest stop was the Rosseggerhaus. The friendly host currently offers take away food and drinks, and toboggans are also available for hire for the route to Hansl in Reith.
