Maxi.Restaurant

For the last 4 years, have been visiting the Maximarkt Restaurant Vöcklabruck approx. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food unfortunately fluctuated strongly. Experience shows that you just have to know what the Maxi Restaurant can and cannot prepare well. Example: Sometimes the schnitzel is full of flax, sometimes it's OK again. Sometimes the fries are completely brown and taste like used oil, sometimes they're OK again. Furthermore, the price-performance ratio is sometimes not right at all. Example: A small scoop of clear soup with little contribution € 3.20. The salad buffet is also totally overpriced, see for yourself. The menu always sounds very good, e.g. "Salmon Lasagne" or "Farmer Cordon Bleu". In reality, however, it is not a question of "pub quality", but a pure canteen meal, where warming / warming methods and instant food are mainly used. On Wednesdays, weekly market visitors / pensioners flood the restaurant in Vöcklabruck, which also seems to be the main source of income for the Maxi canteen. It is advisable to avoid the restaurant on this day. Conclusion: I give it 3 stars. A 5 star rating from other users is unthinkable and incomprehensible to me. The Maxi Canteen isn't bad, but it's not good either. Overall, a little overpriced for what you get. Unsuitable for daily lunch visits. Edit: There is only self-service here, which should actually push prices down, but this is not the case.

Unfortunately it has slowed down lately! Roast pork for lunch already! Goulash soup from a can, mushroom sauce, something of below-average pure flour cardboard sauce. Burgers with partly rotten lettuce! Conclusion: price - performance is no longer correct, unfortunately!
