Very nice restaurant in the middle of nature (be careful, Google Maps also likes to send you to dead ends) When you arrive you are greeted warmly The card is small but nice fresh trout, fried chicken, schnitzel, noodles, etc. And the desserts (chocolate cakes with a liquid core ...) Friday is pizza day (did not go out) This place comes highly recommended, reservations would be an advantage Price performance is okay We'd love to come back (promise)

We were eating at the Waldwirt on Saturday, September 5th, 2020. We were told the food there is very good. Unfortunately we could not confirm that. Ordered trout 2 times. The fish was very dry and destroyed as a whole. Probably picked in the pan and served that way. That can't happen. There were potatoes that weren't even cooked. The salad should be a mixed one. But it was only a green salad with 3 pieces of small tomatoes. After this meal (which wasn't cheap either) I can't understand the good reviews. We won't eat a second time. And can't give good feedback either. It's a shame about this place. The area would be very nice. But a restaurant doesn't live from the area alone but a lot from the kitchen. And that was not recommended.

The stay at the Gasthof Waldwirt was wonderful. The rooms are super nice and very clean. The food is excellent and very fresh. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The garden is very cozy. All in all, it was a wonderful, fun and relaxing vacation. We will be back definitely!

Spent a lovely long weekend here with my granddaughter. The rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and the food excellent. A beautiful outdoor dining area and a swimming pool complete everything. Can just be recommended.
