Very good value for money, for example 5 euro kids menu with schnitzel and french fries.
Also they produce their own beer and the staff is very friendly.
Amazing, typical rural Austrian Guesthouse close to St. Veit. A young, attentive team with focus on perfectly prepared traditional Carinthian food with a lighter spin. Big plus: they also brew their own beer, which you can also take with you
On every level, this succeeded. Delicious craft beer. Check. A lamb’s lettuce salad mit potatoes and speck...shared. Check. A mixed grill of chicken, pork,steak,bacon, and a splayed vienna sausage-all succulent morsels perfectly cooked and seasoned. Check. Fries which though too much for me to finish were enthusiastically devoured by my mates, still crispy and warm after 20 minutes. Check. Bring the check. Check. Wow. I must come back to Austria, and to Gelter Brau. Danke.
Friendly staff, great food, and they brew their own beer. Great place
The food was delicious, but the service below level. Feels like you are doing a favor to be served. We had long since finished our meal, our glasses were already empty, the waitress doesn't come to ask if we need anything ... maybe she just had a bad day?
