Beautiful place
Fish restaurant in Gessel village - We left the car in the village and from there 20 minutes walk to the restaurant. The restaurant was fully occupied. 3 musicians dressed in folklore costume arrived. We played the harp, accordion and guitar there. The musicians enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was festive and cheerful. We really enjoyed the fresh and delicious fish meal. Restaurant is highly recommended despite the difficulty of arriving. do not miss.
From the parking lot, pay attention (coins or app), - about 30 minutes along a beautiful hiking trail to Lake Toplitz. Inform in advance about opening times. If desired, you can take a ferry, Plette, to the Kammersee, the origin of the Traun.
