Andre has performed extensive and difficult repairs to two of my violins now. Only a fellow luthier would even spot the repairs, they are so beautifully done. The sound has been transformed as a result. While he cannot make a pig-in-a-poke sound like a Guarnerius, he can certainly bring out the best in a violin if it is somewhere there to be had.
Andre has just restored my grandmothers 200+ years old Hopf violin for my mum and it sounds truly amazing. His attention to detail, professionalism, experience makes dealing with him an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks ever so much Andre.
