We had not been here previously and had got some bad advice by friends that you could turn up without booking and expect to get tables. Thankfully the staff were great and shuffled some bookings around to accommodate our group which we were really grateful for. The beer on tap was great, the food that we ordered was all really good and the whole atmosphere of the place was good. The live band was pretty cool to. We will definitely be back.

Received the warmest greeting upon entry that I've received anywhere in a long time, super helpful. Asked if we'd been before, we hadn't, so he helpfully pointed out where to order, the toilets, their table system (to spot what was available). Inside was beautiful decor, but we opted for outside. All seating options were shaded nicely with beautiful views, and so many happy families present. Spacious enough that while it was busy, we still felt we had some privacy which was great. Food and drinks had a great selection. We really loved that the bites (jalapeno poppers, Oysters etc) were individually priced so you could order as few or as many as you like. My wife and I had the Burger (changes each week) and the Steak Sandwich, both with chips, both were delicious. Same with the Oysters Kilpatrick and the Jalapeno poppers. Overall, really cute aesthetic, beautiful outdoor area, fabulous service. Can't wait to go back

Had coffee in the afternoon. We were so impressed with the atmosphere and service from Joshua so we returned for dinner. So happy with the food and service we have returned for a second night. Aaron met us at the door and Jeremy remembered us from last night at the Bar. Haven’t experienced this level of service for years. Congratulations The Hen. We will be back when we are next in The Swan Valley. Wish we lived closer!

Great place, especially for families as there is a grassed area where kids can run around & play. Lots of seating indoors & out. But VERY popular so worth while booking, especially if you want to sit inside. The service is really fast & the food is very tasty with generous portions. Reasonable prices, with kid friendly options.

The atmosphere is so lovely on a nice weekend and the music was great. The food was very average, and the prawns were raw in the prawn tacos. The kangaroo salad was chewy and hard to eat. Wouldn’t recommend for food but nice for a drink.
