I came in to buy some reeds and left nearly an hour later after having a great chat with Craig about music and sax players. He not only gave me some helpful advice about the complex subject of reed choice and mouthpiece setup, but he also imparted an insightful lesson about how to produce the sound you want. The notion of treating the instrument as an extension of your voice and singing the notes by adjusting your vocal chords, while keeping the embouchure and upper body relaxed is something that is not taught widely enough - it has given me something to think about and work on further. Clearly Craig and the guys who work here are keen players themselves and bring both that understanding and a genuine passion for music to their interactions with customers like myself. I look forward to swinging by in the future.

Really impressed with the service here. My son got the mouthpiece stuck in his trumpet. I took it along and they took it out for free and included a smile. Where do you get that these days! Even gave the trumpet a quick check to see if everything was in order. Friendly, efficient and decent people.
