My curl transformation with Melissa was an incredible experience! She was able to give me the most bouncy and well-defined curls (after a years of straightening) and taught me so much about washing, styling and maintaining my curls going forward. I had been following the curly girl method for about 5 months but was feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all, and Melissa was able to give me really great pointers and hands-on tutorials about which CGM techniques and products best suited my hair and lifestyle. She was also super friendly, great to chat with, and didn’t put any pressure on me at all to purchase any particular products. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone following the curly girl method that needs a bit of help!

Melissa is such a wonderful, bubbly person who wants nothing but to help you on your hair journey. She helped me transform my curls from dull and dehydrated to beautiful, bouncy and healthy curls! The knowledge Melissa was so happy to share has really helped me understand my hair more and I cannot wait to try out the techniques and products Melissa showed me!!

Mel was absolutely amazing looking after my curls! She is a wealth of knowledge, who is willing to go above and beyond to ensure you leave with the tools and know how to achieve that salon look at home. I’ll definitely be making the six hour trip to see Mel again, she is absolutely world class.

I attended the ‘Smooth Polished Upstyles’ hands on workshop by Melissa and I have to say it was a morning well spent. I found much value in the techniques, tips and tricks demonstrated by her. Most of all I loved her energy and enthusiasm in making sure we all got things right and at the same time encouraging our own creativity. I would recommend Melissa’s workshops to anyone looking to upskill or learn something new.
