McCarthy's Lookout

I could see Brisbane from up here, yep earth is flat..lol.

Great lookout for a south-easterly aspect of glasshouse mtn's. With a backdrop of the city and the bay Islands, this makes for a great photo opportunity.nWell worth the small detour off the main drag and offers a less travelled road over and around the ranges to some beautiful mountain countryside and townships.

Amazing views and well worth the walk but some of the tracks have a lot of large lose rocks and make the going difficult with a lot of potential for rolled ankles or slips if you aren't set up for the wall. The end of the trail involves a bit of a climb... but the views are spectacular and well worth the effort

A bit of a drive, but amazing views! Well worth the trip,will bring a picnic next time. Only thing that would make it perfect would be a toilet there.
